The selected candidate will be responsible for operating laser and/or plasma CNC cutting machinery, ensuring parts are fabricated according to drawings, technical specifications, and work orders. Key responsibilities include equipment preparation, material loading and unloading, as well as configuring cutting parameters—such as speed, power, gas type, and pressure—based on material type and thickness. The operator must verify that cutting programs are correctly loaded and executed, ensuring precision and quality for each part. The operator will be responsible for interpreting drawings and cutting files, as well as performing basic visual and dimensional inspections to ensure parts meet specified requirements. They must also identify potential process deviations—such as burrs, deformations, or incomplete cuts—and make necessary adjustments or report anomalies to the relevant department. Additionally, the operator will handle materials such as steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, and properly use measuring tools and instruments. It is essential to maintain order and cleanliness in the work area, strictly adhering to industrial safety regulations—particularly when handling high-temperature equipment and gases.
