Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it. ### **About the Position:** Perform inspection of parts in the PDI (Pre\-Delivery Inspection) shipping area, following the established inspection checklist, with the objective of ensuring that the parts meet quality requirements and specifications indicated in the engineering drawings. ### **Responsibilities:** * Perform part inspections according to the established work standards. * Report and manage any defects detected by following the defined nonconforming material process. * Comply with processes and practices of the CQMS system. * Implement key principles of continuous improvement in daily activities. * Create T\-Cards for process improvement initiatives and complete ABB’s related to safety. ### **Required Education:** * Completed high school or incomplete/complete technical engineering degree. ### **Required Skills:** ### **Quality Management** * Ensure all inspections are performed according to established quality standards. * Document findings and ensure traceability of inspection results. * Comply with internal procedures and applicable regulations to maintain consistency in quality. ### **Accuracy and Attention to Detail** * Carefully inspect each part to detect defects, damage, or deviations from the engineering drawing. * Complete the inspection checklist without omitting critical steps. * Validate that information recorded in systems is accurate and complete. ### **Decision Making and Critical Thinking** * Evaluate the severity of detected defects and determine the correct action according to the nonconforming material flow. * Prioritize inspections based on risks and shipping timelines. * Propose quick and effective solutions to prevent delivery delays. ### **Top Candidates Will Have:** * Knowledge of acceptance criteria in key processes, including welding and, preferably, painting and initial operations. * Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications. * Proactive attitude and willingness to learn, with high availability to support the work team. * Competency in computer tools, including basic computer skills and internal systems. * Experience with management systems such as SAP and ETQ. ### **Additional Information:** * This position will be located in Santa Catarina, N.L. * Work schedule from Monday to Saturday. * Shift rotation availability required. * Relocation assistance is not provided. ### **Final Details:** Check frequently the email associated with your application, including the spam/junk folder, as this is the primary method of communication.
