**Position Objective** Execute and directly monitor fleet vehicle maintenance, technical inspections, and proper operation, promptly identifying mechanical failures and performing basic repairs to ensure vehicle availability, safety, and continuous operation. **Responsibilities** * **Perform periodic technical inspections on vehicles**: Basic visual and mechanical inspections (engine, brakes, tires, fluid levels, cooling system, lights). * **Validate safety conditions**: Inspect tire condition and pressure, brakes, and safety systems. Report vehicles unfit for operation. * **Identify and report mechanical failures**: Detect unusual noises, leaks, vibrations, or abnormal behavior. Diagnose simple faults and report major faults to the Fleet Manager. * **Carry out basic preventive maintenance**: Replace hoses, belts, bulbs, fuses, filters, and minor components. Check and replenish fluid levels (engine oil, antifreeze, brake fluid, windshield washer fluid). * **Monitor corrective maintenance performed by external workshops**: Coordinate vehicle drop-offs and pickups. Verify that completed work meets specified requirements. * **Manage the fleet maintenance schedule**: Record services performed, mileage, and dates in logbooks or systems. Ensure vehicles adhere to the preventive maintenance plan. * **Support basic spare parts inventory management**: Track tools, minor spare parts, and consumables. Request replenishments as needed. * **Assist vehicle operators and users**: Receive fault reports. Provide basic on-site technical support when possible. * **Support operational documentation**: Record incidents, minor accidents, and services performed.
