Job Summary: We are seeking a CNC Programmer to develop and improve manufacturing programs for 4- and 5-axis lathes, while training personnel in programming and tool usage. Key Highlights: 1. Generate and manage CNC machine programs in Mastercam and Catia V5 An aerospace machining, sheet metal, and assembly center is seeking a **CNC Programmer** for 4- and 5-axis lathes or Swiss-type lathes. **CNC PROGRAMMER** * Develop programs for manufacturing new parts, continuously improving existing processes. Train and deliver instruction on CNC programming and cutting tool application. **Requirements:** * Technical degree in Machine Tools, diploma or certificate * CNC programming for 4-axis lathes (5-axis preferred) * Blueprint interpretation * Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) * Internal 5S audits **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS.** * Generate and manage CNC machine programs in Mastercam and/or Catia V5. * Develop procedures or instructions for setup, adjustment, loading, and startup of CNC programs. * On-site review of the programmed operation prior to first-piece run. Train CNC personnel to foster multi-skilling. * Adjust programs to meet quality standards and criteria.
