




Job Summary: A leading construction company is seeking a Safety Technician to ensure regulatory compliance, promote accident prevention, and support Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) audits. Support document control for Occupational Safety and Health management systems MTY Safety Technician **Safety Technician** *An enterprise with a 75-year business history, operating in 22 countries, ranked among the world's top 100 construction companies, and recognized for an entrepreneurial and innovative culture, invites you to join its team as:* Safety Technician Requirements: Willingness to relocate and/or travel Completed degree in Civil or Industrial Engineering or related field, with knowledge validating acquired experience. *Minimum 3\-5 years of experience in infrastructure construction projects at civil works level, performing similar duties and delivering OSH training to personnel.* *Experience in lifting operations, scaffolding, heavy machinery, work at heights, and excavation.* Legislative knowledge of safety and traffic signage; implementation and documentation of Occupational Safety and Health Management Systems; Mexican Official Standards (NOMs); and OSH experience in civil construction. Experience in road, railway, bridge, and viaduct projects. Responsibilities: Collaborate in conducting audits according to the Work Plan defined by the department management, aiming to verify compliance with guidelines, policies, and standards implemented in Occupational Safety and Health. Support document control and recordkeeping of the Occupational Safety and Health Management System per established procedures to ensure proper document organization and area recordkeeping. Promote workplace safety and accident prevention to foster a preventive culture. Conduct Safe Job Analysis (SJA) and issue Work Permits for "High-Risk Activities" jointly with site supervisors and project managers. Support scheduling of 5-minute safety talks (assist in organizing logistics for delivery or deliver the training) together with the site supervisor or project manager.
