Identify stained or damaged items and assess their condition to determine appropriate stain treatment, re-washing, or disposal. Inspect cleanliness of items removed from washers, dryers, or dry-cleaning machines and place them in clean linen carts. Set dryer time and temperature according to fabric types in the load. Remove lint and debris from dryer and dry-cleaning machine filters and dispose of them after each load. Fold clean items to the designated size manually or using a folding machine. Maintain accurate records of washed and ironed items. Comply with all company safety policies and procedures; report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure both uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional. Maintain confidentiality of company-owned information; protect company assets. Support all coworkers and treat them with dignity and respect. Support the team in achieving common goals. Meet quality assurance expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than 25 pounds (11.25 kg) or equivalent without assistance. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or throughout the entire work shift. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., to identify defects). Reach above head and below knees, including bending, twisting waist, pulling, and stooping. Navigate narrow, confined, or elevated spaces. Move across inclined, uneven, or slippery surfaces and stairs. Climb up and down service stairs and/or ramps. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors. DESIRABLE SKILLS Education: No high school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate required. Relevant work experience: No relevant work experience required.
