Job Summary: We are seeking a professional to analyze requirements, design and execute manual tests, identify defects, and collaborate with technical teams to ensure software quality. Proactivity and goal-oriented work **\*Must reside in Cancún\*** **Responsibilities** * Analyze functional and technical requirements to design comprehensive test strategies and plans. * Design and execute test scenarios and cases required to validate the implementation of requested functionalities. * Perform manual testing (functional, regression, integration, smoke, UAT). * Identify, document, and track defects using management tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, or others). * Validate integrations between services, REST APIs, and databases. * Collaborate with developers, analysts, and technical leads to ensure incident resolution. Requirements: **Education:** * Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Development, or related field. * Experience: * Minimum 1 year of experience in software quality assurance. * Languages: * Technical English (preferred). **Technical Knowledge:** * Functional, regression, integration, and API validation testing. * Log analysis, service monitoring, and data validation using tools such as Grafana, Kibana, SQL, or Postman. * Documentation of results and management of test evidence. * Use of management tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira (preferred). * Basic knowledge of test automation (Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit, xUnit, or Postman Collections) (preferred). * Basic knowledge of functional testing and strategies at the microservices level (preferred). **Skills and Competencies** * Analytical thinking and attention to detail. * Ability to anticipate risks and detect unconsidered scenarios. * Clear and effective communication with technical and functional teams. * Autonomy, proactivity, and ability to work toward goals. * Adaptability to projects using agile methodologies (Scrum) (preferred).
