The Trade Marketing Manager SSS is the strategic leader responsible for maximizing profitable growth and market share in the self-service channel, integrating brand strategy, flawless point-of-sale execution and financial management (GTN). The Trade Marketing Manager acts as a key business partner to sales and commercial teams, anticipating trends, generating customer plans aligned with the company's vision, and ensuring every commercial initiative translates into measurable, sustainable and scalable results. Key responsibilities:* Define execution strategy per self-service customer (Walmart, Soriana, Chedraui, etc.), ensuring alignment with company objectives * Translate marketing and category plans into channel-specific tactics, ensuring relevance and differentiation at the point of sale * Ensure robust annual business plans (JBPs) aligned with strategic priorities * Manage and optimize the use of trade budget (discounts, promotions, trade terms) to maximize profitability and efficiency * Monitor investment per customer and per brand, ensuring profitability and monthly GTN visibility: forecast vs. actual, variances and opportunities * Work hand-in-hand with the Key Accounts team as a strategic partner, ensuring consistency between customer strategy and point-of-sale execution * Provide insights, tools and support during key customer negotiations to strengthen relationships and commercial outcomes * Develop customer-specific execution guidelines aligned with the Perfect Store model, and coordinate promotional activities and in-store visibility plans * Measure the impact of trade initiatives and recommend continuous improvements to scale results * Analyze channel performance (sell-in, sell-out, share, margin) and provide data-driven recommendations to improve execution and ROI of investment * Prepare executive reports for Commercial and Marketing Leadership, ensuring clear and timely visibility of results and learnings Why YOU? Your qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or related field * EMBA or MBA desirable * 6+ years in strategic roles in Category Management, Shopper Marketing or Trade Marketing in the Consumer Goods industry * Experience developing commercial execution frameworks and leading product launches * Strong track record collaborating with Marketing, Trade and Sales to activate brand strategy across channels * Advanced knowledge of Excel/Office 365 * Advanced skills in commercial acumen and negotiation * Strategic and Analytical Thinking: Ability to think strategically, analyze commercial data, financial KPIs, market trends and shopper insights to develop strategies and initiatives that drive growth * Knowledge of dComm, digital retail media and online merchandising * Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders * Solid understanding of categories, trade marketing and omnichannel execution * Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, digital retail media and online merchandising * Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with agility and autonomy in decision-making Do you feel this could be your next career move?
