Description
* **Academic Qualifications:** Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Foreign Trade, Logistics and Customs, or Customs Law.
* **Experience:** Minimum 1 year in similar positions within customs agencies or import departments of companies, with a focus on customs valuation.
* **Competencies:** Attention to detail, ability to analyze regulatory frameworks, document organization, and working under pressure.
2\. Main Responsibilities
* **Preparation and Submission of Electronic Customs Value Declaration (MVE):** Prepare, process, and submit the Electronic Customs Value Declaration via the Mexican Foreign Trade Single Window (VUCEM) or internal systems.
* **Digital File Management:** Ensure proper inclusion of supporting documents (invoices, contracts, transport documents, insurance policies, non-affiliation letters, etc.).
* **Calculation of Additions:** Correctly determine elements comprising the customs value (freight, insurance, packaging, royalties, additions, and deductions).
3\. Technical Knowledge
* **Legal Framework:** Customs Law, Customs Law Regulations, General Foreign Trade Rules.
* **Valuation Methods:** Proficiency in customs valuation methods.
* **Platforms:** Advanced use of VUCEM.
* **Incoterms:** Correct interpretation and application of billing terms.
