Job Summary: Yecaflora is seeking a responsible Delivery Driver to transport ornamental products between greenhouses and packing areas, ensuring traceability and sanitation. Key Highlights: 1. Yecaflora, a company dedicated to the production and export of ornamental plants, is seeking a "Delivery Driver" to transport its products from greenhouses to the packing area. **Mission** * Follow the correct method for harvesting and scanning harvested plant cuttings to guarantee traceability of export-bound products. * Transport trays containing harvested cuttings from greenhouses to the packing area, and from the packing area to rooting areas, complying with the company's established sanitation procedures. **Responsibilities** * Conduct continuous rounds to prevent accumulation of harvested bags. * Maintain and safeguard assigned equipment used for work (handheld device and vehicle). * Meet cold-chain delivery deadlines for harvested bags from greenhouses to cold storage. * Inspect, maintain, and promptly report any identified damage to the assigned vehicle. * Report any incident, delay, or issue encountered en route. * Maintain constant communication with the packing area, greenhouses, and immediate supervisor. * Report any incident, delay, or issue encountered en route. * Perform disinfection of trays and vehicle according to sanitation procedures. * Transport plant material to the composting area. * Report any incident, delay, or issue encountered en route. * Support other operational areas such as internal supplies, cold storage, greenhouses, and other areas as required. \* * **Safety Responsibilities.** * Conduct daily vehicle inspections before starting the shift (brakes, lights, tires, oil and water levels). * Wear seat belts at all times and observe speed limits. * Securely load and fasten cargo to prevent accidents. * Comply with company-established safety protocols in case of accidents, thefts, or hazardous situations. * Keep vehicle and personal documentation up to date (driver’s license, registration card, insurance). * Report unsafe conditions on routes or at delivery points. * Participate in road safety and risk prevention training sessions. **1\.** **\*\*Requirements:** * Education: Completed junior high school or incomplete high school. * Experience: Minimum 1 year in similar positions. * Mandatory: Proficient driving skills for standard vehicles, automatic transmission vehicles, ATVs, and motorcycles. * Valid driver’s license: Automobile or Commercial Driver’s License (Motorcycle license preferred as an additional qualification). * Familiarity with local routes and GPS usage. * Good physical condition for handling light loads. * Service-oriented attitude and sense of responsibility. * Professional appearance. **2\.** **\*\*Competencies:** * Punctuality and commitment. * Customer service orientation. * Teamwork. * Organization and planning. * Problem-solving ability. * Proactive, dynamic, and organized. **3\.** **\*\*Working Conditions:** * Schedule: Monday–Friday: 7:00 am–4:30 pm, including one-hour lunch break. * Saturday: 7:00 am–12:00 pm. * Sunday: Day off (day off may change during peak season). * Employment type: Seasonal contract. * Benefits: Above statutory requirements, life insurance, growth opportunities.
