Job Summary: Specialized mold maintenance to optimize operations and ensure quality and profitability of the production process. Key Highlights: 1. Assembly and mold change with focus on proper operation. 2. Leadership of auxiliary personnel for mold maintenance. 3. Analysis and resolution of mold failures, documenting activities. **JOB OBJECTIVE** *Carry out planned activities and work orders using safe and efficient procedures to maintain all existing molds in the area and company in optimal operating condition, ensuring high quality and profitability of the production process.* **Functions and/or Activities** · *Perform timely and correct assembly and mold change on the requested machine, ensuring its proper operation.* · *Maintain logs, reports, checklists, and maintenance activity reports regarding the current status of various types of molds.* · *Correctly and safely perform applicable preventive maintenance activities.* · *Analyze and resolve mold failures promptly, document the work performed, and generate control sheets, checklists, work forms, and/or procedure sheets for executed activities.* · *Perform required activities jointly with other maintenance areas—peripherals and machines—to ensure maximum production process efficiency.* · *Replace parts following analysis and authorization, and report to update spare parts inventory.* · *Implement and execute efficient, safe, and environmentally friendly methods and/or systems for performing activities or processes, ensuring correct operation and harmony within the mold area.* · *Understand spare parts control and assist in analyzing spare parts requirements with immediate supervisor.* · *Theoretical\-technical and operational knowledge of mold, machine, and equipment functionality related to maintenance in general.* · *Lead auxiliary mold maintenance personnel to collaboratively perform mold maintenance activities requiring speed, accuracy, and optimal results.* **Education** **Academic Qualification**: \*Industrial Technician, Mechanical Technician, or Electromechanical Technician. \*Mechanical Engineer, Electromechanical Engineer, or related engineering degree. \*Intern from any of the aforementioned engineering disciplines. **Years of Experience in the Area or Position:** \*3 years of experience in a similar position. \*3 years of experience as mold maintenance assistant. **Desired Specific Knowledge:** \* General industry knowledge. \* Experience in plastic injection production processes is desirable.
