Engage in planning, coordination, and project closeout activities Project Engineer | Data Center Construction A leading company in the construction industry is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Engineer to support the execution of large-scale mission-critical projects in Querétaro. This position is ideal for professionals with experience in commercial construction environments who are looking to grow within the data center sector. Location El Marqués, Querétaro, Mexico On-site position Compensation & Benefits Gross monthly salary: $45,000 MXN Mexican law benefits Major Medical Insurance Project-based contract with strong possibility of extension to indefinite employment Schedule Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM 48-hour workweek Key Responsibilities Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of data center construction projects from preconstruction through project closeout. Prepare, review, and manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation. Support project scheduling activities, including timeline updates and progress tracking. Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure timely project execution. Maintain organized project records in accordance with company standards and compliance requirements. Assist with budget tracking, cost control reporting, and invoice reviews. Participate in project meetings and support with meeting minutes, agendas, and follow-up action items. Support safety compliance, quality control processes, and adherence to project specifications. Assist with project closeout activities including punch lists, as-built documentation, O&M manuals, and warranties. Requirements Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Previous experience in construction projects, preferably working for a General Contractor. Experience in mission-critical, data center, industrial, or large-scale commercial projects is highly preferred. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail. Proficiency with construction management platforms such as Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or similar tools. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Availability to work full-time on-site. Physical Requirements Ability to work in an active construction environment. Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and use of hands and arms. Occasionally lift office supplies or materials up to 15 lbs.
