Foster a strong culture of safety across all project phases EHS Manager Data Center Construction El Marqués, Querétaro, Mexico Salary: $80,000 MXN gross monthly Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM On-site position | Project-based contract with potential extension to indefinite employment -The Company- is seeking an experienced and highly driven EHS Manager to lead environmental, health, and safety operations for critical infrastructure and data center construction projects. This role is responsible for ensuring full compliance with safety regulations, implementing proactive safety initiatives, and fostering a strong culture of safety across all project phases. The ideal candidate will have solid experience managing safety programs within large-scale construction environments, preferably in data center or mission-critical projects. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and enforce EHS policies, procedures, and safety programs in compliance with OSHA and applicable regulations. Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Lead and coordinate safety training programs for employees, subcontractors, and project teams. Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, determining root causes and implementing preventive measures. Maintain accurate safety documentation, reports, records, and compliance logs. Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal safety standards and industry best practices. Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to integrate safety into daily operations and project planning. Promote a proactive safety culture and ensure all personnel adhere to established safety protocols. Requirements Bachelors degree in Safety Management, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction safety management. At least 3 years overseeing safety programs for large-scale data center, mission-critical, or similar infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, construction safety standards, and compliance practices. OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification required. OSHA 500 certification preferred. CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or equivalent certification preferred. Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Availability to travel between job sites when required.
