QUALITY INSPECTOR **JOB SUMMARY:** The Quality Inspector position will be responsible for DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Promote awareness across the organization of customer requirements and needs. * Provide continuous support and guidance to all areas involved in the system. * Conduct quality inspections and controls of products during processing and delivery. * Use measurement instruments. * Segregate and identify nonconforming material. * Support data collection and interpretation. * Rework tire counterweights outside specification. * Perform supporting activities for quality assurance. * Take supporting actions to correct quality discrepancies identified in material and/or product. * Complete forms to meet FTTQ requirements. * Control documents based on operational area. * Contain suspect material due to any alert reported by the Quality Assurance Technician. * Follow and comply with all internal company policies regarding quality, safety, and productivity. * Carry out continuous improvement activities for machinery, production processes, and containers used for storage and shipment of material. * Maintain and care for company facilities. * Implement actions to improve company safety. * Provide support, as required, to other departments within the company. **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:** * Education: Completed secondary school. * Gender: Not specified. * Experience: 3 years of experience in the automotive industry OR 1 year of experience in tire\-wheel assembly OR minimum 2 years of experience as a quality inspector. * Desired knowledge of quality systems, IATF 16949, ISO 9001. * Desired knowledge of measurement equipment. **TRAVEL:** **Travel Required:** No **KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:** * Capable of performing multiple tasks in a fast\-paced warehouse environment; * Ability to interact effectively with people; * Capable of standing for extended periods; * Able to work any shift; * Able to work weekends when volunteering or required; * Highly motivated with interest in manufacturing; * Demonstrated history of safe work practices; * Team player, flexible, and adaptable to change. **BENEFITS:** **PURPOSE:** Building a Better Whole We build a better culture by putting people above profits, leading with purpose, passion, and performance, and creating an environment dedicated to an exceptional experience for our customers and people.
