**SAN MARCOS PETS is seeking an Accounting Analyst at Central De Abasto – Iztapalapa, Mexico City** ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SAN MARCOS PETS is seeking an Accountant at Central De Abasto – Iztapalapa, Mexico City Job Description: SAN MARCOS PETS WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Accounting Analyst **Job Objective** Ensure the proper accounting and tax operations of the organization, safeguarding the integrity of financial information, regulatory compliance with various authorities (SAT, IMSS, and other entities), and the generation of reliable reports for management decision-making. **RESPONSIBILITIES** The person holding this position will be responsible for: * Leading the company’s **general and tax accounting**, ensuring timely and accurate recording of transactions. * Managing and operating the **SAT portal** comprehensively: RFC updates, filing of monthly and annual tax returns, issuing and tracking acknowledgment receipts, as well as responding to official requests. * Coordinating the preparation and submission of **financial statements** (monthly, quarterly, and annual), including variance analysis and its impact on business operations. * Responding to and following up on **requests, reviews, and audits** from SAT, IMSS, and other authorities, preparing required documentation and evidence. * Coordinating and supervising the **accounts payable process**, invoice validation, and scheduling of supplier payments. * Supervising the **accounts receivable process**, customer invoicing validation, and accounts receivable follow-up to support healthy cash flow. * Verifying accurate and timely calculation and payment of **employer-employee contributions to IMSS**, as well as correct compilation of required information. * Ensuring compliance with internal **accounting and tax policies**, proposing process, control, and guideline improvements where necessary. * Collaborating with General Management and administrative departments on **financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting**, providing technical information and analysis. **REQUIREMENTS** * Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting, Finance, or related field (degree completed) * Minimum **3 years** of experience in general and tax accounting, preferably within a structured corporate environment. * Proven experience in **using the SAT portal** * Experience in **preparing and analyzing financial statements**. * Prior experience leading or coordinating accounting or administrative teams is desirable. * In-depth knowledge of current **tax regulations** (Income Tax, VAT, withholdings, informative returns, CFDI, etc.). * Familiarity with procedures before **SAT and IMSS**. * Intermediate-to-advanced proficiency in **Excel** and Microsoft Office suite. * Experience with accounting and administrative systems (ERP system experience is a plus). **Salary Range:** $17,000 to $20,000 monthly (Net) **Work Schedule:** * Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 17:00 hrs * Saturday, 07:00 to 14:00 hrs **Desired Education Level:** Bachelor’s Degree – Completed **Desired Experience Level:** Expert Level **Departmental Function:** Customer Service **Industry:** Wholesale Trade / Wholesaler **Skills:** * ASPEL * Accounts Payable * Accounts Receivable *This job posting originates from the Talenteca.com job board:* *https://www.talenteca.com/anuncio?j_id=6952ccac67000031000e01ad&source=indeed
