Their primary objective is to guarantee compliance with production plans while ensuring product quality, operational efficiency, personnel safety, and adherence to SKF’s global standards. **Key Responsibilities** --------------------------------- * Supervise and coordinate operational staff during the assigned shift. * Ensure compliance with the daily, weekly, and monthly **production plan**. * Guarantee **product quality** in accordance with SKF standards and applicable regulations. * Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs): efficiency, scrap rate, downtime, productivity, OEE, among others. * Address operational deviations and support root cause analysis (RCA) activities. * Ensure compliance with **Health, Safety, and Environment (EHS)** procedures. * Manage incidents, attendance, leave requests, and disciplinary matters for direct reports. * Coordinate training and technical development of the operational team. * Collaborate closely with departments such as Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, and Logistics to ensure uninterrupted workflow. * Propose and implement **continuous improvement** initiatives, process optimization, and cost reduction. * Supervise proper use of machinery, tools, materials, and personal protective equipment (PPE). * Generate production reports and communicate results to the leadership team. **Job Requirements** ------------------------- ### **Education** * Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Production, or related field. * Technicians with extensive experience may also be considered. ### **Experience** * 3–5 years of production supervision experience in a manufacturing industry. * Experience in metalworking, automotive, or precision process industries is preferred. * Experience leading work teams. ### **Technical Knowledge** * Manufacturing processes and production control. * Lean Manufacturing (5S, Kaizen, TPM, SMED) — certification preferred. * Interpretation of engineering drawings and technical specifications. * Handling of production metrics and data analysis. * Basic knowledge of quality tools (8D, Ishikawa, Pareto). * Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems (preferred). **Competencies** ---------------- * Leadership and team management * Effective communication * Decision-making * Results-oriented mindset * Commitment to quality and safety * Problem-solving ability * Organization and time management * Proactivity and initiative **Working Conditions** -------------------------- * Availability to rotate shifts (as required by operations). * Direct supervision in production areas. * Mandatory use of personal protective equipment. **Benefits (aligned with SKF Zapopan)** ---------------------------------------- * Competitive salary * Benefits exceeding statutory requirements * Continuous training * Professional development within SKF * Safe, world-class working environment
