Job Summary: Safely and efficiently operate metal laser cutting machines to ensure precise execution of tasks and compliance with quality standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operate 3000 W laser cutting machines for production 2. Interpret blueprints and configure cutting parameters 3. Perform basic preventive maintenance and monitor the process Job Objective Safely, efficiently, and precisely operate a **3000 W** metal laser cutting machine to ensure correct execution of scheduled jobs, meeting technical specifications, delivery deadlines, quality standards, and company safety regulations. Main Responsibilities * Operate the 3000 W metal laser cutting machine according to production orders. * Prepare the machine before each job by verifying parameters, operating conditions, and consumables. * Interpret blueprints, drawings, DXF files, work orders, and customer specifications. * Correctly select materials, thicknesses, metal types, and dimensions of plates or parts to be cut. * Configure cutting parameters—including power, speed, focus, gas pressure, and nozzle type—according to material type. * Conduct test cuts and adjustments to ensure quality and precision. * Monitor the cutting process during operation to detect faults, deformations, burrs, or defects. * Unload, identify, sort, and secure cut parts. * Track material utilization and report losses or waste. * Perform basic preventive maintenance on equipment and keep the work area clean. * Report mechanical, electrical, optical, or software failures to the responsible department. * Meet production schedules and established timelines. Job RequirementsEducation * Completed secondary education; technical high school diploma or technical degree in machine tools, metallurgy, manufacturing, or related field. Experience * Minimum of **1 to 3 years** operating metal laser cutting machines. * Preferred experience cutting: * Carbon steel * Stainless steel * Aluminum * Preferred knowledge of fiber laser machines and DXF file reading. Technical Knowledge * Blueprint and dimension interpretation. * Use of measuring instruments: tape measure, vernier caliper, square, gauges. * Basic knowledge of laser cutting operation software. * Knowledge of cutting parameters based on material and thickness. * Handling of auxiliary gases: oxygen, nitrogen, and air. * Basic knowledge of preventive maintenance. * Industrial safety practices specific to cutting machinery.
