Develop and empower high-performing teams **Job Description:** Technical Manager (Sr Maintenance Manager) – Pet Nutrition – Guadalajara, Mexico As the Technical Manager, you will be a key member of our Leadership Team and the expert guiding our engineering, reliability, and sustainability strategy at the Guadalajara plant. Your mission is to drive technical and operational excellence, ensuring the safety of our associates and the quality of our products as top priorities. . What Are We Looking For? * Degree in Engineering or a related technical field. 7–10 years of experience in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) or manufacturing industry, with a strong track record leading maintenance and engineering teams. * Proven experience with process, packaging, or electrical/control systems. Knowledge of manufacturing excellence systems such as TPM is highly valued. * Ability to develop and implement technical strategies that drive business results and foster a culture of continuous improvement. * Due to collaboration with global teams, fluent English is essential. What Will Be Your Key Responsibilities? * Lead Technical Strategy: Develop and execute the site’s long-term engineering and maintenance vision to achieve key business performance indicators (KPIs). * Drive Operational Excellence: Lead the Progressive Maintenance (TPM) pillar, implementing predictive technologies to evolve toward a proactive and efficient maintenance culture. * Manage Critical Assets and Projects: Oversee the full lifecycle of technical assets—from project management (design, installation, commissioning) through optimization and decommissioning—ensuring on-time, on-budget, and on-scope delivery. * Develop and Empower the Team: Lead and develop Maintenance and Engineering teams, fostering an environment of high engagement, collaboration, and professional growth. * Ensure Innovation and Growth: Lead the technical execution of new product initiatives at the site to meet business needs and keep us at the forefront. * Lead the Sustainability Agenda: Manage the site’s sustainability strategy, leading projects and cultivating a culture focused on building a more sustainable future. * Ensure Financial Efficiency: Manage the maintenance and engineering budget, ensuring accuracy in processes and achievement of financial objectives for the function.
