**Your Job**As an Operation Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all daily plant operations. Your primary goal will be to ensure the achievement of production targets while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and cost efficiency. Additionally, you will lead continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence and ensure the sustainability and growth of the business. **Our Team** You'll join the DSS division at Molex Guadalajara, collaborating with procurement, engineering, quality, manufacturing, and business units. Our team focuses on operational excellence, continuous improvement, and delivering superior service to customers. **What You Will Do** * Lead and manage daily operations ensuring production schedules are met on time and within budget. * Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste. * Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards across the capability. * Supervise and develop operational staff, fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork. * Collaborate cross\-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Maintenance teams to resolve operational issues. * Manage plant resources effectively, including labor, materials, and equipment. * Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports for senior management. * Actively support 5S, EHS, Quality, labor (RBA), and Lean programs by following all approved practices and procedures, performing clean\-up activities and identify/recommend improvements to management * Fulfill responsibilities/authorities detailed in any control plan associated with this position * Perform other duties as assigned by management **Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)** * Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role. * Experience in electronics or related manufacturing industries, with proven success in process improvement. * Understand, comply, and respect quality targets, EHS policy, strategic plan, code of conduct and local laws and other applicable legislation to Molex. * Stop production lines when a risk exists in the products produced or the safety for the personal **What Will Put You Ahead** * Experience in optical fiber and/or Cables ( 4 years) * PMP certification ( will be a plus) **Who We Are**As a Koch company, Molex is a leading supplier of connectors and interconnect components, driving innovation in electronics and supporting industries from automotive to health care and consumer to \-data communications.
