Drive talent and leadership development in automotive manufacturing Your Job The HR Manager is a strategic HR Business Partner for plant and business leaders, aligning people strategies with business priorities to enable growth, operational performance, and a strong culture. This role leads the local HR team, drives talent and leadership development, and strengthens employee relations in a high\-paced automotive manufacturing environment\-balancing advocacy, challenge, and partnership to deliver results. You will support a site working on electronics manufacturing with significant growth and transformation, helping leaders successfully scale capability, culture, and execution. Our Team You will lead the plant HR team and partner closely with Operations, Plant Leadership, Engineering, Quality, EHS, Finance , and other functional leaders. You will also coordinate closely with the talent/training capability to strengthen bench strength, performance, and succession. What You Will Do * Enhance Company Culture : Design and implement HR programs that strengthen culture; own all HR topics at the plant, ensuring HR strategies and actions support business needs and reinforce company culture. * Lead/Mentor HR Team : Coach and develop a high\-performing HR team; cultivate strong relationships and open communication; tailor coaching to individual development; hold yourself and the team accountable while recognizing strengths, opportunities, and contributions. * Strategic HR Partnership : Collaborate with plant and business leaders to understand objectives and translate them into effective HR strategies; deliver tailored HR solutions that support organizational goals and drive business performance; ensure stakeholder support in achieving AOP objectives and project goals. * Talent Development : Lead workforce planning/talent strategies to bridge talent gaps and align human capital with current and future business needs; drive actions to close talent\-related gaps and build high\-performing teams while adjusting to dynamic business conditions. * Employee Relations \& Compliance : Resolve complex workplace issues (grievances, investigations) by collaborating with legal and compliance teams to ensure fair policy application and appropriate actions. * Data\-Driven Decision Making : Use HR data analytics to provide insights that support strategic decisions and continuous improvement; prioritize HR team understanding of plant financials; encourage analytical skills and economic thinking to identify gaps and make informed decisions. * Collective Bargaining : Maintain productive relationships with union representatives and manage annual Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) negotiations to foster positive labor relations. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * 5\+ years of HR experience in an HR leadership/management capacity within a multinational manufacturing organization . * Automotive manufacturing experience (required). * Demonstrated experience managing and developing an HR team . * Strong capability as an HR Business Partner : influencing leaders, aligning people strategy to business outcomes, and leading through change. * Proven strength in talent development , leadership coaching, and performance management (including feedback and termination cycles). * Deep understanding of Mexican Employment Law (including NOM\-035, overtime compliance, contracts, terminations, employee settlements). * Experience managing relationships with labor unions and navigating collective bargaining agreements . * Ability to present strategic results to global stakeholders in advanced English . What Will Put You Ahead * Experience supporting rapid growth / transformation environments (new lines, new processes, expansions). * Strong executive presence and conflict navigation skills\-comfortable challenging with respect and clarity. * Background in electronics manufacturing within automotive supply chains.
