Participating in project teams from start till end of production (within the context of specified processes) for the optimum fulfillment and observance of quality, costs, timing and resources, in order to achieve the integration of all those involved in the process chain and the fulfillment of targets, taking market and customer requirements, as well as Hella procedures, into particular account, in agreement with the superior . Improvement of project yield and customer satisfaction in the development and production process **Duties and Responsibilities** A Project management within Series production * Conduction of an official hand\-over of the project and transferring of PDM authorization group responsibilities. Serving as product\-specific contact for internal and external customers (face to the customer). * Ensuring, that all open topics of the TtM process are finished in time by the project team (cost responsibility at PJM side till 6 months after SOP in maximum; details see HN\-10012\). Presenting reports of part results to the clients in the agreed scope and at agreed points in time (according to Hella procedure), in order to make the necessary information transparent for processes and decisions. * Defining and implementing actions to ensure best quality / no customer line returns (no internal failures of single parts, sub\-assemblies and finished goods). Adherence to the quality, cost and timing targets specified by the client, using major result\-securing methods (e.g. FMEA, Engineering Change Management) in order to meet customer requirements and achieve optimum economic efficiency * Responsibility for engineering change management and heading the Change Control Board, in agreement with the internal organizational units responsible, in order to process incoming changes as quickly as possible. * Suggesting suppliers and / or changes in supplier or optimization in agreement with the internal organizational units responsible, as well as exploiting suppliers' know\-how within the context of specified standards, in order to achieve perfect, fast and low\-cost solutions and processing, especially for replacement tools. * Agreement and monitoring of the applied technologies and technical possibilities in day\-to\-day business, indicating and initiating possible improvements, if necessary, as well as specific feedback (lessons learned) of knowledge gained during production to the development department, involvement in the development of new methods / strategies to secure know\-how and competitive advantages. * Initiation of continuous product development to ensure the QCT targets like manufacturing costs, gross margin, non\-quality expenses (tools: PJS Cockpit, Re\-DtC, continuous improvement plan, productivity, NQE Universum, BD specific improvement program etc.) by analysis and evaluation of lessons learned and opportunities for improvements of the project (risks, problems, opportunities, threats) and driving lean manufacturing. * Improvement in the value of existing products, production processes and procedures, analyzing and defining cost structures and key costs, carrying out economic efficiency calculations and yield considerations for projects with regard to target specifications. * Initiation of the project\-specific capacity and investment planning (e.g. tool replacements) and arranging the project maintenance budget together with all cross functions, in order to achieve optimum capacity utilization of systems and operating equipment and optimum production conditions. Assessment and responding of capacity increase requests by the customer. * Planning and coordinating of project relocations to another production location as responsible person from the current production side. * Providing timely project decisions and identifying critical paths in order to establish prioritized actions. Carrying out established escalation scenarios when deviations from targets (QCTR) occur.
