Job Summary: We are seeking a Purchasing Assistant for an industrial cafeteria, responsible for inventory review, quotations, purchase orders, and preparation of operational reports. Key Responsibilities: 1. Inventory review and control of food and equipment. 2. Preparation of quotations and purchase orders to suppliers. 3. Operational reports on raw material procurement. La Buena Mesa industrial cafeterias is hiring a PURCHASING ASSISTANT for one of its industrial cafeterias. Working hours: 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Saturday. **Address**: Av Valdepeñas , Lomas de Zapopan, 45130 Zapopan, Jal. **Core Job Functions:** * Inspect cold storage units and warehouse areas to verify on-hand products (quality, quantity, rotation) against inventories conducted by various departments. * Receive purchase requisitions from different departments to prepare quotations and purchase orders for the unit. * Conduct area inventories (food, small and large equipment, dry storage, etc.). * Submit goods receipt notes to Finance. * Prepare operational procurement reports by product and/or category. * Place orders with suppliers based on purchase orders in the established format. * Prepare routine and urgent purchase requisitions to ensure menu compliance. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree with administrative focus. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. * Two years of experience in a similar position. * Inventory control. * Procurement and quotation of raw materials. * Teamwork.
