Service-oriented attitude and organization Leading industrial cafeteria company seeks a KITCHEN ASSISTANT to work in Coyoacán at an outsourced cafeteria. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assist in pre-food preparation (washing, disinfection, chopping, and portioning). • Support dish preparation under the cook’s supervision. • Maintain cleanliness and disinfection of work areas, utensils, and kitchen equipment. • Comply with food hygiene and safety standards (NOM-251, DISTINTIVO H). • Properly separate and handle organic and inorganic waste. • Assist in inventory control and report shortages or defective items. • Wear uniform and personal protective equipment correctly. REQUIREMENTS: • Minimum education: Completed elementary or junior high school. • Experience: Preferably 6 months to 1 year in kitchen or industrial cafeteria settings. • Basic knowledge of food hygiene and handling. • Availability to rotate shifts. • Good physical condition for operational work.
