**Financial Controller - Cost and Budget Specialist** **Location:** CIVAC, Cuernavaca, Morelos **About the Opportunity** A leading company in the pharmaceutical-chemical sector is seeking a strategic professional to lead financial management, cost control, and operational budgeting. This key position reports directly to management and has a direct impact on the organization's profitability and operational efficiency. **Main Responsibilities** **Cost and Budget Management:** * Calculate and maintain updated standard material costs * Prepare margin and profitability analysis by product line * Develop and monitor the annual operating expense and investment budget * Conduct monthly tracking of budget variances and propose corrective actions **Inventory Control:** * Monitor monthly and annual inventory levels * Coordinate physical inventories and external audits * Execute monthly financial closing of costs and inventories * Manage fiscal destruction of obsolete or out-of-specification inventory **Strategic Financial Analysis:** * Evaluate economic feasibility of new projects and developments * Prepare financial reports for business decision-making * Serve as key user of SAP CO module **Required Profile** **Education:** * Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field (degree required) **Experience:** * Minimum 3-5 years in similar roles * Experience in pharmaceutical-chemical, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environments preferred * Demonstrated knowledge in standard costing and budgetary control **Technical Skills:** * Proficiency in SAP CO module (key user) * Advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros, data analysis) * Costing methodologies and variance analysis * Knowledge of tax regulations applicable to inventory **Languages:** * Intermediate English (conversational and technical) **What We Offer** * Competitive compensation based on experience * Benefits exceeding legal requirements * Growth opportunities within ESTEVE Group’s international company * Professional environment in a highly specialized pharmaceutical sector * Job stability in a globally present company Job type: Full-time Salary: $28,000.00 - $30,000.00 per month Benefits: * Educational assistance * Grocery vouchers Work location: On-site employment
