Community Promoter in Mexico City.

**Location:** Mexico City. **Schedule:** From 09:00 to 18:00 hrs. **Education:** Psychology, Social Psychology, Educational Psychology, Social Work, Sociology. **Type of employment:** Salaried position. **Language:** Basic English. **Position Objective:** Participate in implementations, accompaniments, and interventions of the different active projects, as well as in the various activities required by the organization. Contribute to the development of better practices to achieve greater impact with the interventions carried out. **Experience:** * Minimum of two years of experience in developing and implementing community mobilization strategies and working with organized groups of children, adolescents, youth, mothers, fathers, caregivers, and teachers. * Minimum of one year of experience conducting participatory workshops. * Minimum of one year of field or community work experience. * Experience working with social groups of different ages. * Knowledge of brief therapy intervention. * Identification and follow-up of cases involving girls, boys, adolescents, parents, mothers, and/or caregivers. * Key areas: Organization and facilitation, group management, training methodologies and techniques, and case identification. **Functions:** Provide support in actions related to mental health and socioemotional support for refugee, migrant, and transit populations. Build community capacity through training strategies, supervision, identification of improvement areas, and solution generation. Accompany and strengthen Socioemotional Skills (SES) among children, adolescents, and adults. Develop intervention plans and accompany cases. Ability to convene and promote processes of sensitization, mobilization, and community organization around planning, management, and control of community development. Carry out work responsibly regarding social issues, respecting the characteristics of the communities and spaces where interventions take place. Generate strategic and situational alliances in fieldwork. Monitor, follow up, and report results of activities carried out. Disseminate Save the Children Mexico's projects within the community, schools, and organized groups where influence exists. Be responsible for the proper use of materials and equipment provided for carrying out activities. Disseminate Save the Children's Child Safeguarding Policy within communities, schools, businesses, government, and any other entity where the organization operates its projects, ensuring it is respected and correctly implemented. **Activities:** * Schedule activities and develop timelines through coordination with staff from other local and national office areas. * Conduct workshops based on established descriptive guides and develop activities to build competencies and develop skills. * Prepare working materials for activity implementation. * Collect information (databases). * Commit to carrying out work responsibly regarding social issues. * Manage workspaces within communities (schools, community centers, public spaces, etc.). * Be responsible for the proper use of materials and equipment provided for activities. * Support in applying diagnostic tools, as well as gathering and systematizing information. * Prepare reports on findings and results according to Monitoring, Evaluation, and Accountability mechanisms. * Identify project learnings, risks, and opportunities. * Identify key actors within the school and social community. **Skills:** Knowledge of community mobilization methodologies (Essential) Knowledge and skills to facilitate actor articulation and strategic alliances (Desirable) Ability to implement a program flexibly and adjust interventions according to group/context needs.
