**Position Objective:** Carry out the configuration, testing, analysis, and validation of protection systems in Medium and High Voltage, ensuring relays operate safely, selectively, and reliably. Ensure settings, tests, and documentation comply with technical standards and customer requirements, contributing to the proper operation and protection of electrical installations. **Main Activities:** **1\. Relay Configuration and Settings:** \- Configure and parameterize protection relays (SEL, ABB, Siemens, GE, Schneider, etc.). \- Perform adjustments according to electrical studies, standards, and coordination criteria. \- Verify trip curves, logic, timing, and selectivity. **2\. Protection Testing Execution:** \- Conduct primary, secondary, functional, and End\-to\-End tests. \- Operate test equipment: injectors, primary test sets, analyzers, and digital tools. \- Validate compliance with IEEE, IEC, NOM, and CFE standards. **3\. Analysis and Interpretation of Studies:** \- Interpret load flow, short circuit, protection coordination, arc flash, and grounding studies. \- Ensure protection settings match study results. \- Identify deviations and make corrections. **4\. Technical Installation Review:** \- Verify correct physical installation of relays and protection equipment. \- Inspect secondary wiring, CTs, VTs, control loops, and signals. \- Validate integration with SCADA, PLC, and control systems. **5\. Commissioning Support:** \- Participate in energization, synchronization, and final testing. \- Verify actual protection operation and open/close sequences. \- Resolve faults or deviations during commissioning. **6\. Technical Documentation Preparation:** \- Prepare test reports with results, analysis, and evidence. \- Generate setting records, configuration backups, and relay files. \- Maintain updated databases of configurations and tests. \- Produce technical reports for services performed. **7\. Coordination with Internal Teams and Clients:** \- Support Power Systems, Testing, Construction, and Projects teams. \- Explain results, settings, and technical recommendations to clients. \- Participate in technical meetings, inspections, and reviews. **8\. Test Equipment Management:** \- Operate, verify, calibrate, and maintain specialized protection test equipment. \- Report failures and coordinate maintenance and calibration. **9\.
