




ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT (CREDIT AND COLLECTIONS EXPERIENCE) **Academic Level: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.** Area of experience: Credit and collections, accounting, or administration. Experience required: Minimum 1 year in similar positions. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Review and verify credit applications. * Analyze necessary documentation for credit approval. * Record and update credit information in administrative systems or specialized software. * Monitor accounts receivable and payment deadlines. * Contact customers by phone, email, or messaging to remind them of pending payments or negotiate payment plans. * Record payment transactions and reconcile them with corresponding invoices. * Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly reports on the status of the credit and collections portfolio. * Keep customer files up to date. * Collaborate with the accounting department to ensure financial records are accurate. * Resolve customer inquiries or concerns regarding their payments or credit terms.
