We are seeking a competent logistics coordinator to supervise and facilitate our company's supply chain operations. You will be responsible for coordinating personnel and processes to achieve effective distribution of goods. Strong communication and negotiation skills are a major asset for a logistics coordinator. Candidates should also be well-versed in supply management principles and practices. The ideal candidate will have excellent record-keeping abilities and a customer-oriented approach. The goal is to ensure smooth operation across various channels with the objective of achieving maximum efficiency. RESPONSIBILITIES \* Coordinate and supervise daily activities. \* Ensure facilities, assets, and communication methods are used effectively. \* Use logistics methodologies and documentation to optimize procedures. \* Hire and coordinate truck drivers based on availability and requirements. \* Supervise transportation service requests and organize staff to meet customer demands. \* Ensure equipment availability to meet operational needs. \* Communicate with suppliers, customers, etc., to secure cost-effective offers and achieve mutual satisfaction. \* Plan and track shipment of final products according to customer requirements. \* Maintain records of services provided to customers and executed operations, etc. \* Develop and execute various transportation plans. \* Implement new processes to improve transportation logistics. \* Monitor different transportation and safety registration programs. \* Ensure operator and transportation staffing levels. \* Assess transportation needs at any given time. \* Motivate and develop team members' various capabilities. \* Prepare accurate reports for company management. REQUIREMENTS \* Proven experience as a logistics coordinator. \* Customer service experience will be valued. \* Knowledge of laws, regulations, and ISO requirements. \* Ability to work with minimal supervision and track multiple processes. \* Excellent organizational and coordination skills. \* Possess strong organizational and creative abilities. \* Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. \* High negotiation capability. \* Ability to work well under pressure and occasionally tight deadlines.
