**EXPERIENCE IN:** QUALITY TECHNICIAN IN AUTOMOTIVE STEERING **KNOWLEDGE:** \* Problem analysis \* Quality tools \* IATF 16949 \* LPA's \* Statistical analysis \* 5S **COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:** \* Proactive \* Leadership \* Teamwork \* Working under pressure \* Effective communication \* Honesty \* Personnel management \* Conflict management **AUTHORITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Ensure that critical materials (L1, new projects (where applicable)) pass through the inspection area before being shipped. * Ensure that products released by quality inspectors comply with applicable customer certifications, packaging standards, and labels indicating inspection and test status. * Ensure continuous training of quality inspectors in their area (quality criteria, quality checkpoints, quality alerts, packaging standards) to prevent non-conforming product escapes to customers. * Conduct performance evaluations of personnel under their responsibility. * Ensure that their area and the areas of personnel under their responsibility comply with the 5S standard. * Do not allow any type of rework in their area; return materials that do not meet required quality standards to the production area and request corrective actions. * Ensure that each inspection station has the required documentation to perform product inspections. * Generate, distribute, and post statistics on the behavior of inspected products in the area. * Actively participate in the execution of LPAs. * Attend internal/external audits as the responsible person for their area. * Communicate quality alerts regarding customer issues to personnel under their responsibility. * Know, apply, and ensure compliance with the Non-Conforming Product procedure. * Ensure the generation of required records in their area. * Submit at least one improvement proposal for their area per month.
