Combining a deep systems knowledge to develop unique vehicle access experiences, intelligent visions systems and advanced automotive lighting technologies, MML's expertise light the path to innovation, safety and styling.**Job Responsibilities:** ➢ Define the process flow diagram for new products and preliminary design ➢ Manage the definition of production based on the specifications resulting from product and process FMEA, customer specifications, safety/environment standards. ➢ Ensure compliance with quality, cost and schedule objectives. ➢ Actively participate with the customer in regular meetings regarding product/process progress. ➢ Generate/update standardized work instructions (CTE) associated with the Injection process. ➢ Actively participate in process FMEA activities for internal company personnel, and may interact to share information with the customer. ➢ Participate in product development from the perspective of 'design for assembly' ➢ Actively participate in product/process management from prototype phase through to series production launch phase. ➢ Ensure continuity of work, including for serial processes, by managing non-conformances or changes requested by the customer. ➢ Technically define the selection of production/assembly equipment and assign its implementation to different suppliers ➢ Deliver results of equipment under construction with responsibility to meet predetermined timelines ➢ Actively contribute to achieving Production, Capacity and Process Quality targets ➢ Support Maintenance and Production areas in analyzing and solving technical issues related to the process. ➢ Participate in training newly hired direct personnel by explaining quality system documentation applicable to the area from the perspective of Process Engineering. ➢ Responsible for sizing human resources for production by performing monthly Machine Load calculations. ➢ Participate and take leadership in continuous improvement initiatives, proposing improvements and correcting possible deviations, documenting corrective actions according to QMS with the objective of identifying opportunities or alternatives to reduce costs. ➢ Coordinate engineering changes for series production with the customer and internal team. ➢ Execute time and motion analysis of the process, analyzing the production cycle, verifying recorded times, performing cell balancing to contribute to increased productivity. ➢ Responsible for maintaining up-to-date process information in the SAP system.
