




Job Summary: You will deliver theoretical and practical gastronomy classes, design lesson plans, evaluate student performance, and support events. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assist in organizing gastronomic events. **Position:** Culinary Instructor **Department:** Gastronomy **Reports to:** Academic Coordinator or Program Director **Location:** Grupo Isima Irapuato **Main Responsibilities** * Deliver theoretical and practical classes in areas including national and international cuisine, pastry, baking, enology, among others. * Design lesson plans, assessments, and teaching materials aligned with the academic curriculum. * Supervise students’ hands-on kitchen work, ensuring proper application of techniques and adherence to safety and hygiene standards. * Evaluate students’ academic and technical performance through practical exercises, exams, and projects. * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of gastronomic trends, culinary techniques, and industry regulations. * Assist in organizing gastronomic events, competitions, tastings, and academic activities. * Manage and maintain kitchen supplies, utensils, and equipment used in classes. * Promote values such as respect, responsibility, and teamwork within the classroom and kitchen environment. **Requirements** Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher technical diploma in Gastronomy, Culinary Arts, or related field. Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional kitchen experience and 1 year of teaching experience (preferred). **Position Conditions** * Schedule: Monday to Friday, full-time; Saturday, half-day * Contract: 2-month probationary period, extendable based on performance and academic evaluation Employment Type: Full-time, Probationary Period Contract Duration: 2 months Salary: $9,000.00 – $11,000.00 per month Benefits: * Tuition assistance * Complimentary uniforms Workplace: On-site employment
