




**General Objective:** Provide comprehensive nursing care with a scientific, ethical, and humanistic approach by implementing nursing care plans, ensuring safe, continuous, and patient-centered care, with the ability to coordinate work teams, manage resources, and participate in educational, administrative, and continuous improvement activities according to institutional guidelines and current regulations **Job Responsibilities:** * Be available for reassignment to different hospital areas as required by operational needs or emergency situations within the hospital unit. * Provide specialized, priority, and safe nursing care to patients admitted in various areas of the hospital unit, based on best practices and compliance with current regulations. * Conduct initial and subsequent assessments of the patient's health status. * Provide specialized patient care according to altered health conditions. * Perform special assessments depending on patient needs upon admission to different areas of the hospital unit. * Follow UVEH-established recommendations for patients requiring transmission-based precautions. * Communicate changes in the patient's condition to the healthcare team. * Coordinate with the medical team necessary actions for the patient according to their care priority (medications, supplies, biomedical equipment, etc.). * Conduct shift handover with nursing staff using the SBAR methodology. * Maintain direct communication with immediate supervisor regarding task execution and any issues arising in the assigned service. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interventions and progress. * Identify required actions and interventions when a patient meets internal protocol criteria (SEPSIS, STROKE, INFARCTION). * Administer medications according to current regulations and medical prescriptions. * Assess and report to the healthcare team any adverse drug reactions detected. * Properly handle and safeguard clinical records and nursing documentation. * Comply with barriers and moments described for essential patient safety actions. * Report patient safety-related events (near misses, adverse events, sentinel events) to direct supervisors as applicable. * Actively participate in national or international quality model evaluations as applicable. * Monitor the proper handling, identification, and final disposal of pathological samples and cultures obtained for pathological studies. * Document all aspects of patient care in the electronic medical record or physical logs, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. * Identify patient and family education needs throughout the hospitalization process. * Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and families, addressing their concerns. * Maintain cleanliness and order of unit areas, equipment, and furniture at all times. * Verify proper functioning of biomedical equipment and promptly notify supervisor of any malfunctions. * Review and complete daily service-related logs. * Charge all supplies, medications, and services used during surgical patient care. * Verify stock supplies and medications. * Ensure proper separation and classification of biohazardous waste (RPBI). * Ensure compliance with hospital safety protocols and regulations. * Know and activate the various emergency codes within the hospital unit. * Participate in training and continuing education to stay updated on practices and procedures. * Collaborate in the development of excellence in nursing personnel during job induction. * Attend and participate in courses, conferences, and/or updates annually or when requested. * Know and apply Nursing Service standards. * Know and apply patient rights throughout the hospital stay according to current regulations. * Comply with the philosophy, objectives, care standards and indicators, and policies of Hospitales Mac. * Establish warm interpersonal relationships with patients and families to obtain direct information that enables better nursing assessment and care. **Education:** Bachelor's Degree in Nursing **Experience:** 1.5 to 2 years (desirable) Surgical patient care, critical care, neonatal, nephropathic patients, emergency department, hemodialysis units, external hemodialysis clinics, hospitalization, internal medicine. **Schedule:** **Travel Required:** **We Offer:** **Hospital:** **MAC Irapuato** CONTACT **Email:** edith.bautista@hospitalesmac.com **Phone:
