




**Job Objective:** Operate conventional and/or CNC lathes for the manufacturing, adjustment, and repair of metal parts, ensuring they meet the technical, quality, and safety specifications established by the company and client. **Main Responsibilities:** * Interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical specifications of parts to be machined. * Operate conventional and/or CNC lathes to manufacture, finish, or repair metal parts. * Select appropriate cutting tools, clamping devices, and materials for each job. * Perform basic machining calculations (speeds, feeds, and depths of cut). * Measure and inspect parts using precision instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, comparators, etc.). * Maintain the lathe, tools, and work area in good condition. * Meet established production schedules. * Follow industrial safety regulations during work activities. * Report any machine malfunctions or process deviations. **Education:** * High school or technical bachelor's degree (preferably in Industrial Mechanics or related field). **Experience:** * 2 to 3 years operating conventional and/or CNC lathes. **Technical Knowledge:** * Interpretation of blueprints and technical drawings. * Precision measuring instruments. * Metallic materials and their properties. * Machining processes. * Industrial safety standards. **Skills:** * Accuracy and attention to detail. * Organization and discipline. * Problem-solving ability. * Teamwork.
