Coordinating services and event setup We are part of the best hotel in Celaya and are seeking a Restaurant/Banquet Captain with the following responsibilities: Job Description: Communicate service requirements to chefs and servers during functions. Handle total billing for group functions and prepare and present checks to group contacts for payment. Ensure banquet rooms, restaurants, and coffee break areas are ready for service. Inspect cleanliness and presentation of all china, glassware, and silverware prior to use. Register with guests to ensure their satisfaction. Set up tables according to event type and service standards. Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen. Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day. * Adhere to all safety and company policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management; and complete all required safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests per company standards. Communicate with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using proper etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support the team in achieving common goals; and listen to and respond appropriately to concerns raised by other employees. Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards. Relevant Work Experience: Minimum 2 years of related work experience. Supervisory Experience: Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
