**Your Job**As a Quality Technician within our DSS division, you will be a key pillar in driving operational excellence and product integrity on the manufacturing floor. In this role, you will serve as the bridge between Quality Engineering and daily production, ensuring that our processes consistently meet and exceed customer specifications. We work hand-in-hand with manufacturing, process, and training supervisors to safeguard product conformity and optimize production lines. Our team focuses on empowering every member to identify risks early, foster a robust quality culture, and drive efficient, root-cause-based solutions directly on the operations floor. **What You Will Do** * Drive Quality Governance: Supervise and control production lines to ensure strict adherence to internal quality system procedures, product specifications, and customer requirements. * Lead and Develop Audit Resources: Coordinate, train, and certify Quality Auditors, ensuring frontline personnel are effectively assigned to support manufacturing needs. * Be a Floor-Level Problem-Solving Champion: Collaborate with Quality Engineering to investigate process and raw material rejections, actively participating in continuous improvement teams to accelerate root-cause-based solutions. * Manage Quality Documentation and Validation: Review and validate process, final product, and rework audits; also prepare critical documentation such as quality alerts, New Product Introduction (NPI) results, and First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR). * Execute Compliance Audits: Conduct thorough shipment and electrostatic discharge (ESD) audits, ensuring appropriate controls, clean work environments, and accurate placement of specialized compliance labels (e.g., UL). * Exercise Line-Stop Authority: Proactively intervene and halt production lines whenever product quality or operator safety is at risk. **Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)** * Technical degree or equivalent education with fundamental understanding of production systems and quality assurance. * Professional experience working under international quality management standards or regulations (e.g., ISO 9000, IATF 16949, VDA 6\.3, or ISO 13485\). * Basic knowledge of structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 5 Whys, Root Cause Analysis, Pareto, 8D, DMAIC) and Core Tools (Control Plans, FMEA). * Professional experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for data management and reporting. * English language proficiency at A2 level or higher, enabling limited professional communication in structured contexts. **What Will Put You Ahead** * Current or incomplete university studies in any engineering discipline. * Practical experience handling dimensional measurement equipment and metrology. * Familiarity and hands-on knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems. **Who We Are**At Koch, we are entrepreneurs.
