Laboratory Analyst

Job Summary: Responsible for ensuring that materials produced at aggregate, concrete, and asphalt mixing plants meet quality standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. Ensure the durability and safety of construction projects. 2. Conduct material sampling and laboratory testing. 3. Supervise mixture design and perform concrete and asphalt testing. Triturados GASA is seeking: **Quality Control Analyst** You will be responsible for ensuring that all materials produced at our aggregate, concrete, and asphalt mixing plants comply with the highest quality standards and current technical regulations. Your work will be essential in guaranteeing the durability and safety of our construction projects. * **Sampling and Testing:** Perform representative sampling and conduct laboratory tests (gradation analysis, Atterberg limits, sand equivalent, Los Angeles abrasion, etc.). * **Concrete Control:** Supervise mixture design, perform slump, temperature, and compressive/flexural strength tests using cylinders/beams. * **Asphalt Control:** Conduct asphalt content tests (ignition/extraction), Marshall stability and flow tests, and monitor paving temperatures. * **Documentation:** Prepare daily technical reports, record results in laboratory logbooks, and maintain the quality management system up to date. * **Plant Monitoring:** Inspect production lines and stockpiles to promptly detect deviations. * **Maintenance:** Ensure cleanliness and basic calibration of laboratory equipment (presses, ovens, balances, sieves).
