**Job Description:** **Job Objective:** Ensure that products meet the specifications and quality standards stipulated by applicable quality regulations, as well as implement required improvements regarding internal and external customer satisfaction to optimize costs and labor. Key Responsibilities and Functions: **Inspect process and dimensional accuracy of profiles in:** Extrusion Cutting Machining Perform measurements using calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators. Validate first articles and process releases. Measurement Equipment Maintain control, records, and inventory of measurement equipment. Ensure proper use, safeguarding, and tracking of calibrations/verifications. **Traceability and Material** Record and control **billet heats**. Manage **billet** inventory, ensuring correct identification and usage. **Records and Analysis** Generate, maintain, and analyze **process records** (temperatures, speeds, cooling, hardness). Analyze data to identify **quality trends, deviations, and risks**. **Nonconformities** Address, document, and follow up on internal and customer nonconformities. Coordinate corrective and preventive actions with Production, Tooling, and Maintenance departments. **Leadership** Lead and coordinate quality inspectors. Assign tasks, validate results, and ensure uniform inspection criteria. **Job Requirements** **Education:** Industrial, Mechanical, Metallurgical Engineering or related field (incomplete or completed). Industrial technical degree with verifiable experience (acceptable). **Experience:** Quality assurance in industrial processes. Preferred: aluminum extrusion and/or metalworking. Preferred: coordination of operational staff. **Technical Knowledge:** Dimensional measurement instruments (calipers, micrometers, optical comparators). Measurement equipment control and calibration. Analysis of production processes. Handling of nonconformities.
