**Location:** Ocotlán **Area:** Finance **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related fields. **Contract type:** Temporary **Objective** Ensure 100% update of the plant register by tracking the factory investment plan and progress of investment projects, to maintain control over capitalizable goods and services, incorporating them into the plant register as soon as the production process begins. **A day in the life of…** * Physical identification of received fixed assets. * Create fixed asset master records when assets are installed and operational, upon receiving notification from Engineering that the Fixed Assets are operating, requesting a Fixed Asset number from NBS through a master data creation form, and capitalizing the Fixed Assets as final assets or creating them for depreciation purposes, so that depreciation costs can be properly applied to cost. * Process disposals when Fixed Assets become obsolete, managing sales and removal from the plant register: receiving notification from Engineering about unused assets, identifying potential buyers, obtaining at least three purchase proposals, preparing the disposal form, sending it to OC for approval, and proceeding with the asset sale, ensuring timely removal of assets from the plant register. (POST\-PROJECT) * Perform inter-plant or internal fixed asset transfers (department changes), completing a transfer authorization request form, sending it to Engineering for approval, receiving the asset, and requesting authorization from the plant register, to ensure proper updates to the plant register. * Control investment budgets by preparing required reports, to monitor and manage investment project expenditures. * Prepare manual journal entries and intercompany invoices, sending them to NBS for posting and accounting, ensuring correct and timely payments to suppliers and proper processing of transactions (expense accruals, sales transfers, and application of other expenses). * Validate physical receipt and approve GR to complete the P2P process. **What will make you successful…** * Minimum experience: 1–2 years in accounting, fixed asset control, or investment projects. * Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations applicable to fixed assets. * Understanding of fixed asset capitalization, disposal, and transfer processes. * Inventory and budget control experience. * Financial reporting and journal entry preparation skills. * Intermediate Excel and Office Suite skills. SAP experience preferred. * Initiative, process improvement mindset, proactive collaboration, and results orientation.
