Position Summary: We are seeking an Animal Breeder I to assist with calving, feeding, and general livestock care, monitor animal health, and maintain accurate records. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assisting with livestock calving and providing support in cases of complications during birth. 2. Monitoring animal health and administering treatments. 3. Safely handling livestock and maintaining facilities. From **Tech City**, we are seeking an **Animal Breeder I** with experience in the livestock industry. **Job Responsibilities:** * Assist with livestock calving and provide support in cases of complications during birth. * Feed livestock and distribute mineral supplements as needed. * Inspect, maintain, and repair fences to ensure livestock containment and safety. * Monitor animal health daily, identify signs of illness, and administer appropriate treatments. * Brand calves in spring, precondition and wean calves in autumn. * Maintain accurate records of medical treatments, pasture rotations, and daily feed rations. * Safely handle and move livestock between pastures or across work facilities. * Inspect and maintain livestock water systems to ensure reliable access. * Operate, maintain, and perform basic repairs on equipment used in livestock operations. **Requirements and Qualifications:** * A bachelor’s degree in Animal Sciences, Veterinary Medicine, or a related field (e.g., Poultry/Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine), or equivalent experience. Salary: $60,000\.00 \- $65,000\.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
