Job Summary: Ensure timely, efficient, and cost-effective supply of raw materials and supplies, guaranteeing quality, competitive cost, and on-time delivery. Key Highlights: 1. Manages the procurement of wood and essential materials for manufacturing. 2. Develops and maintains relationships with reliable suppliers. 3. Negotiates prices and terms to optimize the supply chain. **Job Objective** Ensure timely, efficient, and cost-effective supply of raw materials (primarily wood), supplies, and services required for company operations, guaranteeing quality, competitive cost, and adherence to delivery schedules. **Functions and Responsibilities** * Procure wood (pine, oak, or others), nails, supplies, and materials required for pallet manufacturing. * Develop and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers. * Request, analyze, and compare quotations to obtain optimal conditions regarding price, quality, and delivery time. * Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and purchase volumes. * Prepare and track purchase orders. * Verify on-time, in-quality, and in-quantity delivery performance. * Evaluate supplier performance (cost, quality, delivery compliance). * Coordinate with production and warehouse to ensure appropriate inventory levels. * Identify opportunities for cost savings and supply chain improvement. * Maintain up-to-date purchase and supplier records. * Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations. **Education:** * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field. **Experience:** * 2–3 years in procurement, preferably within the wood industry. **Knowledge:** * Procurement and negotiation processes * Inventory management * Basic knowledge of wood types and their applications (preferred) * Intermediate Excel proficiency * ODOO (preferred) **Skills:** * Effective negotiation * Cost analysis * Organization and follow-up * Effective communication * Decision-making Employment type: Probationary period Contract duration: 1 month Salary: $17,000\.00 \- $20,000\.00 per month Work location: On-site employment
