Job Offer: * **Monthly Salary:** $22,000 net * **Benefits:** Statutory * **Work Schedule:** * Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. * Saturdays, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. * **Location:** Cancún * **Reports To:** Site Supervisor / Resident Engineer * **Work Modality:** On-site Essential Requirements: **Education:** * Completed primary or secondary education. **Experience:** * Minimum 3 years of verifiable experience as a backhoe operator in civil construction projects. * Experience in excavations, trenching, foundations, backfilling, and grading. * Consistent on-site work under safety guidelines. * Availability to work at any assigned location. **Mandatory Technical Knowledge:** * Safe backhoe operation. * Basic ability to read layout markings, elevations, and depths. * Basic knowledge of preventive maintenance for heavy machinery. * Safety and hygiene standards on construction sites. * Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Main Responsibilities: * Operate the backhoe for excavations, trenching, and material handling. * Perform loading, backfilling, and grading work per drawings and specifications. * Inspect the equipment’s mechanical and operational condition daily before use. * Promptly report malfunctions, damages, or maintenance needs. * Keep the machinery clean and in optimal operating condition. * Strictly comply with site safety protocols and guidelines. * Coordinate maneuvers with support staff and supervision. * Respect layout markings, elevations, depths, and alignments defined by the technical department. * Prevent damage to infrastructure, utilities, materials, and personnel. * Assist in signage and demarcation of work areas. * Record relevant incidents during the workday. * Optimize equipment usage to avoid rework and waste. * Meet timelines specified in the construction schedule. * Report daily progress to the Site Supervisor or Resident Engineer. * Support general site activities related to the role when required.
