Job Offer: * **Monthly Salary:** $22,000 net * **Benefits:** As mandated by law * **Schedule:** * Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. * Saturdays, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. * **Location:** Nogales, Sonora * **Reports to:** Site Supervisor / Resident Engineer * **Work Modality:** On-site (in-person) Essential Requirements: **Education:** * Completed primary or secondary education. **Experience:** * Minimum 3 years of verifiable experience as a backhoe operator in civil works. * Experience in excavations, trenching, foundations, backfilling, and leveling. * Consistent on-site work under safety guidelines. * Availability to work at any assigned location. **Essential Technical Knowledge:** * Safe operation of backhoe. * Basic interpretation of layout markings, elevations, and depths. * Basic knowledge of preventive maintenance for heavy machinery. * Safety and hygiene standards on construction sites. * Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Main Responsibilities: * Operate the backhoe for excavations, trenching, and material handling. * Carry out loading, backfilling, and leveling tasks according to drawings and specifications. * Inspect the mechanical and operational condition of the equipment daily before use. * Promptly report malfunctions, damages, or maintenance needs. * Keep the machinery clean and in optimal operating condition. * Strictly comply with safety protocols and site guidelines. * Coordinate maneuvers with support staff and supervision. * Respect layout markings, elevations, depths, and alignments defined by the technical department. * Avoid damage to installations, utilities, materials, and personnel. * Assist in signage and demarcation of work areas. * Record relevant incidents during the workday. * Optimize equipment usage to prevent rework and waste. * Meet deadlines established in the construction schedule. * Report daily progress to the Site Supervisor or Resident Engineer. * Support general site activities related to the role when required.
