As a **Shipping Coordinator**, you will coordinate and supervise cargo shipment operations, ensuring compliance with delivery schedules, proper documentation, efficient use of resources, and adherence to quality, safety, and customer service standards. * 1\. Execute and ensure the daily shipping schedule, considering orders, destinations, priorities, transportation capacity, and staff availability. * 2\. Coordinate with planning, logistics, warehouse, and sales departments to guarantee timely preparation of goods and required documentation. * 3\. Safely load customer shipments within the established timeframe (according to client- and destination-specific deadlines). * 4\. Ensure all information (updated cargo manifest) and goods are available for loading. * 5\. Ensure goods are shipped in accordance with dispatch orders and without damage. * 6\. Verify correct cargo stowage and quantities. * 7\. Report equipment, tool, and facility defects under your responsibility. * 8\. Monitor incidents and generate daily compliance and performance reports. * 9\. Maintain constant communication with internal and external customers to track shipment status. * 10\. Ensure and maintain order and cleanliness at your workplace and assigned areas. * 11\. Record and generate shipping statistics. * 12\. Incident statistics per area in shipping manifests and appointment time slot adherence percentage. * 13\. Analyze KPIs (on-time departures, loading times, unit efficiency, incident or claim rate). * 14\. Identify opportunities for improvement in the shipping process and propose preventive or corrective actions.
