OBJECTIVE Execute all operational procedures at the Refined Products Terminal in full compliance with technical, international safety and environmental standards, as well as the Integrated Management System (IMS), according to the Company’s business plan. RESPONSIBILITIES * Perform loading and unloading operations of petroleum products using terminal systems — including loading/unloading arms and others — covering inspection, startup, shutdown, and taking equipment out of service for maintenance during the operator’s shift; * Monitor and control operational parameters of equipment; open and/or close valves per established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain assigned operations within required operating standards; * Understand and execute activities specific to different terminal facility operating modes; * Perform pressurization, depressurization, inventorying, and de-inventorying of pipelines and equipment; * Carry out additive dosing, oxygenate blending with gasoline, and diesel blending during product loading, maintaining control over petroleum product quality; * Adjust operational variables (temperature, pressure, vacuum, level, flow rate, and/or product transfer) to keep processes within required levels or correct issues; * Collect samples to verify product quality, perform quality control tests, record results, and note any anomalies; * Implement the Car Seal philosophy on manual valves at the terminal in accordance with the annual plan; * Perform assigned operations and record measurements of operational variables for loading/unloading equipment. Report equipment or valve malfunctions and unusual trends or conditions in the operational logbook and to the supervisor; * Use data loggers to collect real-time process data from various terminal equipment and processes, and report such information; * Carry out all work in accordance with applicable safety procedures, using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety devices; * Participate in developing operational procedures and work instructions; * Identify potential environmental risk scenarios arising from operational activities and assess the probability of occurrence for each scenario to prevent environmental damage and ensure mitigation; * Operate heavy machinery to conduct maneuvers on the railway yard; * Follow requirements of the Integrated Management System (IMS); * Attend scheduled and mandatory training programs to perform duties effectively; * Participate in Emergency Response Brigade activities and support the Emergency Response Brigade Leader. REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION: • Completed Technical Career and/or High School.
