Our core pillar is based on the philosophy “People First,” delivering holistic and unique experiences that integrate each employee’s personal life stage with their professional career path. *Join our Team!* **Key Responsibilities:** * Attend to, train, and handle the assigned canine for operational tasks including surveillance, detection, and support at facilities and distribution routes. * Conduct daily exercise and socialization activities to maintain the animal’s physical and mental well-being. * Supervise and document the canine’s health, feeding, and vaccinations; coordinate with a veterinarian when necessary. * Plan and conduct training sessions for substance detection, search and rescue, or other operation-specific tasks. * Collaborate with the security and operations team to design routes, posts, and procedures that optimize the handler-canine team’s performance. * Report, document, and follow up on incidents, findings, and corrective actions related to canine activities. * Maintain and care for the canine’s equipment and supplies (muzzles, leashes, vests, kennels), and ensure hygiene and order in the work area. **Experience in:** * Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a canine handler or in roles involving training and care of working dogs. * Experience in security operations, detection, or logistics support is an advantage. **Technical Knowledge:** * Positive reinforcement and reward-based training techniques, obedience, and detection (as required by specialty). * Basic knowledge of veterinary first aid and preventive canine health management. * Proficiency in documentation and recordkeeping for health, training, and operational activities. * Fundamental biosafety standards and safe handling practices in industrial and distribution facilities. **Competencies:** * Strategic vision * Decision-making * Organization and execution **Education:** Completed high school or equivalent; technical training in canine training, auxiliary veterinary science, or related fields is preferred. **Availability:** * Availability to work rotating shifts and possible relocations within the assigned zone. * Mobility for operational deployments with the canine as required by operations. **Our Value Proposition:** *Competitive salary plus benefits exceeding statutory requirements.* *Opportunities for professional growth and development within the company.* Address Human Resources Position Prevention and Risk Management Locations Lagos de Moreno Plant Employment Type Full-time Contact Christian Hernández, Corporate Talent Attraction Executive – Human Resources
