We are seeking: **PROGRESS ABL DEVELOPER IT** **Position Objective:** To develop, maintain, and support applications and processes based on Progress ABL, participating in integration with internal and external systems. Contribute to the stability of legacy systems and support their evolution toward modern architectures. **Requirements:** \- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Software Engineering \- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience **Knowledge:** \- Proficiency in Progress ABL (4GL) \- Experience with relational database management \- Structured programming logic \- Basic knowledge of system integrations \- Familiarity with data structures (files, records, batch processes) \- Basic understanding of APIs or services (REST/SOAP) \- Experience or familiarity with external system integration (desirable) \- Knowledge of .NET (desirable) \- Understanding of business processes (ERP, accounting, operations) **Main Responsibilities:** \- Development of functionalities in Progress ABL (4GL) \- Maintenance of existing ABL-based systems \- Bug fixing and incident resolution in legacy systems \- Development and adjustment of batch and transactional processes \- Support for integration with external systems (e.g., SAP, APIs, services) \- Analysis and understanding of legacy systems \- Basic documentation of processes and developments \- Support for technical testing and functionality validation \- Collaboration on integration between ABL systems and modern platforms (.NET) **We Offer:** \- $17k \- $20k Gross monthly salary, depending on experience \- Biweekly payment \- Statutory benefits \- Job stability **Working Hours:** Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM; Saturdays remote work from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM\. **Work Location:** Blvd. Independencia 306, Amp.
