




**Job Description:** We are seeking a Senior Oracle Database Administrator with solid experience in Oracle Exadata to join a high-impact new project with an international company. The selected candidate will collaborate with technical teams and clients. **Position:** Senior Database Administrator / Senior Oracle Database Administrator (Exadata) **Education:** Bachelor’s degree. **Age:** 32–50. **Gender:** Unrestricted. **Working Hours:** Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with occasional availability to cover rotating shifts (8 hours, 24×7 support). **Employment Type:** Full-time. **Work Mode:** On-site (with a hybrid model of 2 days working from home). **Salary:** MXN $53,000.00 gross per month. **Experience:** Minimum 12+ years using Oracle DBA, and 7 years using Oracle Exadata. **Statutory Benefits.** **Areas of Expertise:** * 12+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA. * 7+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Exadata. * Proficiency in Oracle technologies: RAC, ASM, GoldenGate, Data Guard, and RMAN. * Experience managing Oracle 19c / 21c in Exadata environments (X7, X8, X9 preferred). * Strong ability to identify and resolve incidents (performance, failover, patching). * Experience using Exadata monitoring tools (OEM, AWR, ADDM). * Solid knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and Shell scripting. * Experience in regulated industries (highly desirable). * Knowledge of cloud versions, preferably Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). * Excellent communication and client-facing skills. **Responsibilities:** * Administer and operate Oracle Exadata environments (preferably X7 or higher versions). * Administer and support RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and RMAN, including Oracle Grid Infrastructure. * Continuously monitor database performance using OEM, AWR, and ADDM. * Administer, maintain, and optimize Oracle Exadata environments in high-availability and high-volume scenarios. * Apply database patches (patching), upgrades, performance tuning, and SQL analysis on Oracle Exadata systems. * Diagnose and resolve database and hardware incidents in coordination with Oracle support. * Monitor and manage *storage cells, compute nodes, and InfiniBand switches* in Oracle Exadata environments. * Design, implement, and execute backup, restore, and recovery strategies using RMAN and Data Guard. * Ensure high-availability and disaster recovery (DR) configurations are implemented and validated through testing. * Collaborate closely with development and infrastructure teams to ensure optimal system performance. * Proactively monitor and resolve incidents in database clusters. * Ensure operational continuity under defined SLAs. * Ensure compliance with internal policies, audits, and regulations. * Administer and optimize concurrent OLTP and OLAP workloads, implementing resource isolation mechanisms and high availability to guarantee operational continuity and optimal response times. **Skills / Requirements** *Hard skills:* * Advanced English (100%). * Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with Oracle. * Best practices in IT service management. * Shell scripting. * Availability for 24×7 support under on-call rotation. *Soft skills:* * Excellent communication skills. * Customer orientation. * Adaptability to change. * Active listening. * Teamwork. * Problem-solving. * Proactivity. * Strategic thinking. * Attention to detail. ***Note:*** ***All assessments and interviews will be conducted entirely in English.
