Position Summary: We are seeking a laboratory technician with experience in concrete and asphalt for quality control, sampling and testing, and ensuring compliance with construction regulations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Perform sampling and testing of fresh and hardened concrete 2. Conduct compressive strength tests and quality control 3. Verify compliance with technical standards and specifications **Construction Laboratory Technician** **Requirements** **Education:** Technical degree in Laboratory Science, Construction, Materials, or related field; Civil Engineering or Materials Engineering. **Experience: Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience as a Laboratory Technician** **Technical Knowledge:** * Fresh and hardened concrete testing. * Asphalt testing. * Compressive strength testing. * Quality control in concrete production processes. * Applicable standards (ASTM, NMX, ACI, or equivalent). * Maintenance of laboratory logs, reports, and records. **Responsibilities:** * Perform **sampling and testing of fresh and hardened concrete**. * Conduct **compressive strength tests**, slump tests, air content tests, temperature measurements, and other quality control tests. * Prepare and cure concrete specimens (cylinders, cubes, etc.). * Record, analyze, and report laboratory results. * Verify compliance with applicable **technical standards and specifications**. * Identify concrete quality deviations and report them promptly. * Maintain laboratory equipment, tools, and measuring instruments in good working condition. * Support internal or external quality-related audits. * Collaborate with the production department to adjust mix designs when necessary. **Location:** Zapopan, Jal. **Benefits:** Statutory benefits, foreign project bonus, per diems, camp accommodation. **Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 09:00 AM to 6:00 PM; Saturdays, 08:00 AM to 1:00 PM Employment Type: Full-time Salary: Starting at $14,000\.00 per month Benefits: * Company vehicle * Option for indefinite-term contract * Free uniforms Workplace: On-site employment
