Inspection, diagnosis, and correction of faults **Internal Plant Fiber Optic Installation Technician (Totalplay)** ------------------------------------------------------------------- **Base Salary: $12,000 \+ Monthly Bonuses: $2,500 to $10,000** **Employment Type:** Full-time ### **Job Description:** At **Totalplay**, we are seeking **Internal Plant Installation Technicians** with experience in installing and maintaining fiber optic networks. The purpose of this role is to perform residential installations, lay and route fiber optic cables within buildings (residences, offices, and commercial buildings), ensuring high-quality service delivery to end customers. ### **Responsibilities:** * Install and configure fiber optic services (internet, television, and telephony). * Lay, route, and connect fiber optic cables within internal plant infrastructure (buildings, junction boxes, cabinets). * Perform fiber optic splicing; operation of equipment such as OTDRs, fusion splicers, and optical power meters (preferred). * Inspect, diagnose, and resolve service faults. * Interact directly with end customers during installation. ### **Requirements:** * Education: Completed junior high school or technical high school diploma (preferred). * **Minimum 6 months’ experience** in fiber optic or telecommunications network installation (internal or external plant). * Basic knowledge of FTTH, optical connections, measurement equipment, conduits, racks, and cabinets. * Valid driver’s license (mandatory). * Service-oriented attitude, responsibility, and enthusiasm for fieldwork. * Flexible availability for work hours. ### **We Offer:** * **Base Salary:** $12,000 per month * **Monthly Bonuses:** From $2,500 up to $10,000 based on performance * Statutory benefits from day one (IMSS, vacation, year-end bonus) * Work tools, company-provided transportation vehicle, and fuel * Ongoing training and opportunities for career growth within the company
