Be our **JAVA Analyst / Developer!** The Java Support Developer is responsible for handling, analyzing, and resolving tickets related to incidents, requirements, and improvements in Java-based applications. This role requires quickly identifying root causes, applying efficient solutions, and ensuring operational continuity of the systems under their responsibility. Additionally, the candidate must be willing to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and document findings and implemented solutions. **Responsibilities and attributions** **Required Academic Background:** * University degree in Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. * Certification in Java programming (e.g., Oracle Certified Java Programmer) is valued but not required. **Experience** * Minimum of 3 years of experience in this role, providing support for Java applications. * Experience in banking environments (desirable) * Control, tracking, and full development of customer requirements, from analysis, design, construction, testing, and release **Main Responsibilities:** * Handle and resolve assigned support tickets on Java applications, meeting defined SLAs. * Analyze incident origins and propose temporary and/or permanent fixes. * Document implemented solutions and steps taken to resolve tickets. * Perform post\-solution validation tests in development or QA environments. * Participate in follow-up and status meetings with the support and development team. * Escalate critical or recurring tickets to the technical lead or application architect when necessary. * Propose improvements for optimization and refactoring of legacy applications. **Requirements and qualifications** **Required Technical Skills:** * Proficiency in Java programming. * Knowledge and experience with application servers (e.g., Apache Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic). * Experience in bug resolution, log analysis, exception tracing, and diagnosis of Java applications. * Familiarity with relational databases (Informix, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and basic SQL knowledge. * Experience with version control tools (Git, SVN). * Knowledge of associated web technologies (JSP, Servlets, HTML, XML). * Ability to understand and work with legacy applications and inherited code from previous Java versions. * Desirable: experience with automation scripts (bash, batch, or PowerShell). **Required Soft Skills:** * Analytical thinking and problem-solving orientation. * Ability to work under pressure and prioritize multiple support tickets. * Strong oral and written communication skills for documenting and reporting solutions. * Service-oriented attitude, focused on internal user/client satisfaction. * Teamwork and collaboration with QA, Infrastructure, and Technical Support departments. * Proactive approach to escalating high-impact or difficult-to-resolve issues. **Additional information** **We offer:** * Punctuality bonus * Attendance bonus * Restaurant allowance * Grocery vouchers * Statutory benefits * 4 personal paid days off * Half-day off for birthday * Access to Stefanini Academy training platform * Access to Mentoring platform * Discount agreements with various institutions Are you looking for a place where your ideas can shine?
